Brand Finance Forums are a series of events which explore brand strategy, brand building and brand valuation. They should not be missed by those who are serious about maximising the value of their brands and intangible assets.
Brand Finance is a specialist consultancy dedicated to the better understanding of marketing finances, founded in 1996 with the aim of ‘bridging the gap between marketing and finance’. We offer a highly professional approach to marketing accountability and brand evaluation.
For more than 20 years we have helped companies to connect their brands to the bottom line, building robust business cases for brand decisions, strategies and investments. We have helped finance people to evaluate marketing programmes and marketing people to present their case in the Board Room.
Every year we value over 5000 brands, across all sectors and geographies. The results are tabulated and published in the media, with partners such as The Banker, to raise awareness of brands as valuable business assets, which must be managed and invested in.
We have worked with companies of all shapes and sizes, from blue-chip internationals such as Vodafone and Shell, to small iconic brands such as Asprey and Ministry of Sound. We also work with tax authorities, IP lawyers and private equity firms.
From the beginning, Brand Finance has advocated for open, transparent and accessible international standards for brand valuation and evaluation methodologies. Our own methodologies are grounded in marketing and investment practice.
Working with the International Standards Organisation (ISO), we were central to the creation of ISO standards for brand measurement, including ISO 10668: Brand Valuation and ISO 20671: Brand Evaluation. We are the only brand valuation practice in the International Valuation Standards Council (IVSC) and our methodology has been accredited by the Marketing Accountability Standards Board (MASB)'s Marketing Metric Audit Protocol (MMAP).
Brand Finance Institute is our educational division. The BFI's purpose is to create and foster a professional environment for knowledge-sharing and networking among practitioners and experts in the market.
For this, we organise events, in-company training, and corporate educational initiatives around the world.
Our goal is to promote best practice on brand valuation and evaluation. Each year we host our own series of worldwide forums to share our knowledge and showcase best practice for clients and friends.
